I experienced a natural, confident and nearly *PAIN FREE* birth ...
and I NEVER talk about it.
I used to think that if I ever experienced such a "perfect” birth I wouldn’t stop raving about it! I would tell all the women and couples I would meet that it is possible, and they could experience that too.
While I still deeply believe that we can all experience such a positive birth, the truth is I rarely talk about it AT ALL.
The births I talk about are the ones that didn’t go the way I would have wanted them to go.
Why?
After all, it is said to stay away from “difficult” birth stories when getting ready for the big day...
Because while these births had their set of challenges, I still consider them positive and they’re the ones that held the greatest learnings about pregnancy, birth and postpartum preparation.
And it makes sense, right?
When things are smooth and easy, we rarely take the time to analyse why. We take them for granted or assume it was down to luck.

Now, let me tell you that this blissful birth of mine didn’t magically happen because I was blessed or because I am one of a lucky few. It happened because:

It was my 3rd time preparing for birth.... yes! I prepared for every single one of them.

My mind and body finally clicked!
